Based in the United States, Mantus Marine has designed and manufactured high-quality components for serious boat users. Their superior range is one step ahead of their competitors in design and functionality.
Their eye for quality is seeing them reach outside the United States on reputation and delivery. Their product ranges are filling niche pockets where others are failing or have failed to deliver.
A good example is the Mantus Anchor Swivel range. Mantus has succeeded where others struggle.
Mantus products are built tough and we have been using them for 4 years now. The adjacent video explains the Mantus Swivel S2 well.

We have tried and tested the:
Kong Swivel Anchor Connector
Pro’s - All 316 stainless steel. Easy to connect.
Con’s - Pin tended to unscrew. Even with Loctite, we lost an anchor at sea with the pin falling out the anchor dislodging, never to be seen again.
Mantus Swivel S2.
Pro’s - All 2205 duplex stainless steel. Easy to connect. Love the idea of no screws.
Con’s - None to date. Going strong as our primary chain-to-anchor connector.
Our sailboat cruising requires safe yet secure anchoring in conditions that could be calm from one minute to 35kts for the next three days while holding 21 tonnes.
We continue to fall back on the Rocna 33 with a Mantus Swivel S2, to our chain. We then use the Mantus Boat Chain Hook to secure the bridle (see our review of the Mantus Boat Chain Hook here).
We also have a Kong Swivel Anchor Connector as a backup.
These are all correctly sized, so provide confidence to the next point of anchoring failure, where the bridle connects to the anchor chain.
